Happy first day of summer!
LDS Women's Book Review hopes you have enjoyed the Countdown to Summer 2010! The books and authors highlighted during the countdown are an excellent sampling of some of the great fiction by LDS authors available to readers so far this year.
Entries into the drawing (see below for ways to enter) will still be accepted through Friday, June 25, 2010 until Midnight MDT. This allows plenty of time for you to go back through the Countdown to Summer 2010 author posts and leave comments on those that you missed.
We thought it might be fun for you to learn a little about us as well. Starting tomorrow, we will spotlight each member of LDS Women's Book Review. Comments on those posts will count as entries into the drawing as well.

Please join us in counting down to summer with some great reads!
I am completely new to your site. I heard about from the adorable Sarah Eden. I've enjoyed reading all the blogs and reading challenges. I'm trying to figure out the podcast now :)

I read about the contest on your blog. I had heard of LDSWBR before Valor's huge book launch party at the Gateway this year, but I met and spoke with Shanda there and that's when I REALLY got interested. I think you ladies are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI heard about it from Sarah M. Eden who is giving a book away. This is first time from Sarah. I've only read the blog. I think it is awesome to review books to let people know how you enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteI have had you on my blog roll for a while now. I also follow you on facebook. I can't even remember where I hear of you guys. I read the blog a ton, but have never heard a podcast. I may have to try to figure it out... I think you ladies are great!
ReplyDeleteI first found you guys through your podcast. I was searching for new podcasts on itunes and found yours. On your podcast you talked about your blog so I came here next. I love the contests you do, I participated in the last one during Christmas. I love it when you talk about the books you are reading or planning on reading. I also love that you include Young Adult books. I teach 6th grade and almost always have heard about the books you talk about (but I haven't always read them yet, so I love to listen to what you all think of them), and like to learn about new ones I have never heard about before.
ReplyDeleteI'm a facebook friend with author Michelle Bell

I heard about you when Shanda and Mindy came to our store (Dragons & Fairy Tales) for Jessica Day George's signing.
ReplyDeleteSo far I've only read your blog.
I think its great that you are doing a blog to review books. I love to hear more about new books that are coming out!
