Teaser Tuesday - March 2, 2010

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers!

Shanda's Teaser:

"When she finally reached Paris, Marie Jacobson did not discuss with her father her joy that Rolf Schulmann was alive. Miss Allred's correspondence had rekindled the spark of hope that, even in the long absence of news from Hans, had always burned ever so subtly deep inside a heart that was trying to mend. It had confirmed her most sincere innermost hope that, Rolf would still be found alive."

Tribunal by Sandra Grey, page 101 (still reading
it- I got distracted by life for a few days)

Sheila's Teaser:

"Imagine yourself savoring all types of food without any guilt, making a choice based on what you want, not what you should have and finally focusing on life, not food. If this sounds too good to be true, please trust me and continue reading."

Love Your Body: A Diet-Free Approach to Balanced Eating By Brooke Parker, R.D., page 14

Hillary's Teaser:

"David tried to open his eyes, but when he did, the room spun in circles around his head-or maybe his head was spinning in circles around the room; he wasn't really sure."

The Moroni Code by Jack Lyon, page 113

What are YOU reading? Leave a teaser for us in the comments!

  1. Ooo, I like that quote from the Moroni Code! Wish I'd thought to write something like that. ;-)

"Pocket of Guilt" by Dora Lee Thompson

He heard a hand fumbling around in the interior of the jeep, and just at the moment when he thought he'd lose his mind, the unthinkable happened. The hand touched him!

"Pocket of Guilt" by Dora Lee Thompson. Read real stories about how these kids survived WWII. A must read for spoiled teens.
